Love my floors! “I contacted NYC Floor Pro after having done a partial interior home remodel. It was time to do the flooring, and I was pretty lost in how to go about doing it. John was so helpful in figuring out what type of flooring would work best with my built-in cabinets. He was able to see the bigger picture in terms of color and type of wood. John made us up a sample which made it easier to visualize what it would look like. They made everything so easy. The work was done in no time and there was very little disruption. The floors turned out beautiful! Doing them on an angle like they recommended was the perfect decision. I would highly recommend NYC Floor Pro and will be using them again for my future flooring needs.”

“NYC Floor Pro did an incredible job installing wood floors throughout our house. They were fast and efficient! They were very easy to deal with, and John was the best. My wife and I couldn’t come to an agreement on which wood to install and this is where John really showed his knowledge and professionalism. He went above and beyond our expectations and helped us choose which wood to install and the results were excellent and she may have saved a marriage (haha). We are very delighted with our Hardwood floors and we highly recommend NYC Floor Pro to anyone looking to have wood floors installed.”

I contacted NYC Floor Pro for an installation and finish of solid hardwood floors on my first home in New York City. They were referred to me by a friend, and they came highly recommended. Since that time, NYC Floor Pro has done 2 installations and 1 refinish in different homes that I have owned. The most recent 1 year ago. I would not consider anyone else. I am so pleased with the professional and knowledgeable service. The owner John and his team were extremely helpful in explaining my options and the process along the way. I could not be happier with the results each time. They are true craftsmen of beautiful flooring and professionals. I would not consider contacting anyone but John of NYC Floor Pro.

Thank you for my beautiful floors!

Him and his team did a tremendous job and I would highly recommend them. The team communicated clearly and promptly from start to finish. Quality of work was top notch. Pricing was fair. John was patient throughout and helped me through the Co-op boards rules and challenges. Highly recommend

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. John and his team did a great job. I’m very particular and they were very easy to work and communicate with. Pricing was also very transparent which I appreciate since every buck counts since my new place had several unforeseen complications. You never know what’s behind a wall but they found a way to work around it and even got the job done a day early! I highly recommend them for all your flooring needs. Thank you so much!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently hired NYC Floor Pro to refinish our hardwood floors, and they exceeded every expectation. From the very first contact, their communication was excellent and they were incredibly professional - including working with us to complete the review process for our building management. The team did outstanding work — the floors look absolutely beautiful. The finish is smooth, even, and has brought new life to our home. What impressed us most was how efficiently they worked. They finished the job ahead of schedule, even while carefully moving and protecting our furniture. As a small local business, they clearly take pride in their craftsmanship and customer service. They were respectful of our home and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. If you're looking for quality wood floor refinishing, I can’t recommend NYC Floor Pro enough. They’re true professionals and a pleasure to work with. We’ll definitely be calling them again for future projects!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I used NYC Floor Pro to redo the floors in my apt. They ripped up my existing floor and replaced with a new floor. Highly recommend! John is no BS but also very patient and responsive. His crew is super professional, skilled, fast, and resourceful. Most of all, the work is beautiful.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very smooth experience! John is very responsive, on time and the whole crew is professional. We also had some surprise during the renovation (like every renovation does) and John accommodated our change of schedule. He also paired us with a gc who turns out to be super helpful during the process!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Everything in NYC is expensive - that’s a pure axiom nowadays. But John Danino’s NYC Floor Pro, Inc. is exceptional for its excellent customer service and highest quality workmanship. John Danino himself was a pleasure to deal with. My recent experience having my water-damaged wood flooring replaced (5/27/26) in my Manhattan apartment was far better than I anticipated. John’s worker crew was very friendly, helpful to me, careful and efficient. I not only recommend him and his company highly, but would use him again should the need arise.
